57% Mumbaikars satisfied with condition of public toilets

Cleanliness of toilets in Mumbai has been a major issue since the beginning. Many times, people have complained to the government officials that the toilets are not clean. On the condition of pay and use toilet, people have complained many times. But seeing a figure released by BMC, you will probably also get to the point of view. Based on the feedback machine seated in 54 toiletries, it has come to light that 57% toilets in the city are clean. 18 % stated that toilets are clean while 25% believed that the toilets are still not clean.

Firstly a feed machine was installed in Bhatia Bagh Sanitary room in A ward in CST area. Where 74% termed these toilets as clean, then the 21% declared it as ok. 6% called it unclean.

To monitor the work of contractors BMC had installed a feedback machine costing Rs 12,000. BMC had installed 54 such machines. Where people can give their feedback about the toilets.

Public's feedback on condition of civic toilets - 

Girgaum Chowpatty Toilets

85% have described it as clean and tidy, whereas 10% people have termed it as 'right'. 5% have rated it messy.

Dadar Bridge Toilet

29% said it is clean and tidy. 69% were of the view that there is the lack of cleanliness. 2% rated the condition as Ok.
