Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya discharged from Nanavati Hospital

On July 11 legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan were tested positive for coronavirus and were admitted to Nanavati Hospital.

On July 11 legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus and were admitted to Nanavati Hospital.

A day later, on July 12 Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive for coronavirus. Earlier they both were in-home quarantine but were later admitted to Nanavati Hospital. Today both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were discharged from Nanavati Hospital. Abhishek Bachchan gave this information to everyone via Twitter. Amitabh and Abhishek are still in the hospital under the supervision of their medical staff.

Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter wrote, "Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff".

Other members of the Bachchan family were tested negative for coronavirus. Their bungalow ‘Jalsa’ was also declared as a containment zone and according to the rules of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), a banner regarding the same was put up, which was taken down yesterday on July 26. 

We hope that the father-son duo too recover soon and get discharged from the hospital. 

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus cases in the state continues to spike. On Sunday, Maharashtra recorded 9,431 new cases of coronavirus, taking the total number of cases in the state to 3,75,799. The total number of active cases stands at 1,48,601.

India, on the other hand, has recorded more than 14 lakh cases of coronavirus to date and more than 9 lakh cases have been recovered.
