Govind Patwardhan Marg that is located right before the Porto Church of Dadar West stands to be quite a hustling area. However, due to the sheer negligence of administration, this area does not seem to be in a very good state. The local people had to suffer unnecessarily due to the wreckage, accumulated waste, as well as the garbage that used to get piling because of the drunkards dumping wine bottles here and there. Hence, to get a permanent solution to this problem, the residents of the Portuguese Church took the initiative and established the 'Advance Locality Management' (ALM) by the name of 'Bela View' and transformed the transport island into a beautiful area.

Aside of this, the residents planted different types of trees on the 'Traffic Beta'.

In this regard, ALM official Subhash Patil said, "Bela View" ALM has 28 buildings in total. From these buildings, about 8 lakh kg of garbage gets accumulated in the municipal corporation every month. Out of this 7 lakh 38 thousand kilogram of garbage is wet waste whereas 65 thousand kilograms is of dry waste.
