Last year, 2017-18, BMC had a fund worth INR 25,141 crores, which was more than any other corporation country in the country, and the year before it was INR 37,052 crore. The funds available with BMC this year is not known yet, however, it is expected that they might reduce it this year too.

This budget, BMC should think about the development plan (DP), which has been the topic of debate amongst the political parties for the past few months. It is said that the officials may allocate a heavy sum money for this too.

Besides the DP, funds may be allocated for development of roads, fire safety to protect properties in the city.
