Yashwant Jadhav, the Leader of BMC House, is allegedly trying to control the chairpersons of different civic committees. He has directed the chiefs of BMC committees to inspect the areas under their jurisdictions and submit reports of their findings. Questions are being raised on this 'Dabangg' move of Jadhav.

There is a buzz in the civic body that Yashwant Jadhav has directed the chairpersons of the standing committee, improvements committee, BEST committee, education committee, health committee, legal committee, etc, to inspect the works taken up under various schemes in the jurisdiction of their respective committees. He also asked them to submit reports of their findings. Jadhav has not yet formed tuning with the new corporators of his party. He consistently reminds civic committee chiefs to carry out works as per the guidance of party bosses.

As per sources, the committee chiefs do not understand whether the leader of the house has instructed them or directed them. Some of them have said that it is their duty to work under the guidance of their leader in the BMC while some said that Jadhav has been trying to dominate them. The newly elected corporators are also feeling suppressed due to the dominating behaviour of Jadhav.

Meanwhile, it has come to fore that Yashwant Jadhav works till 11 pm in the BMC headquarters. He has decided to study various subjects in great depth and hence he works late in the night. Generally, BMC employees leave their office at around 6 pm and higher ups also go to their homes by 8-9 pm. It is observed that studious Leader of the House remains in his office studying different subjects but he has not yet shown brilliant performance in the General Body meeting.
