However, officials have been quoted by narratives elaborating on how they anticipate the number of suggestions to rise as the deadline nears on February 14. Reports are also doing the rounds that plans are underway for a lottery for the reservation of electoral seats to be held prior to March 10.

According to the report, Suresh Kakani, the additional municipal commissioner elucidated that all the received recommendations, as well as objections, will be assessed and put before the state elections commission on February 16.

It has been reported that the last date for the hearing of the recommendations and objections received by the state election commission will be on February 26. Post this, by March 2 the final list of the ward boundaries is anticipated to be published.
