Kurar Village - Shantaram Talao, Malad (East) to have a new caretaker. The talao constructed by MHADA was managed under the supervision of a private body. The ignorance shown by the body costed lives of fishes. Even walls of the talao was also in derelict state. Looking at the shabby condition of the talao, MLA Sunil Prabhu wrote a letter to Chief Minister, requesting him to handover the management of the talao to BMC. CM accepted his request and now BMC will undertake the control of the Talao.
