The COVID-19 Vaccination drive at the civic and state government-run centres to run smoothly on Friday, August 27.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has released a list of 300+ centres that would be administering both doses of Covaxin and Covishield across Mumbai.
The centres will be operational from 9 am to 5 pm. Healthcare workers and frontline workers can only get their second jabs of the vaccine at any centres.
Of the total, Covishield will be available at 311 centres. The civic body has arranged special inoculation sessions for pregnant women, citizens travelling abroad for higher studies and professionals. Those eligible for drive-in can also visit the centres mentioned in the list.

Meanwhile, Covaxin will be administered at 30 centres in the city. At these centres, 50 per cent of Covaxin doses have been allocated for first dose candidates, the remaining 50 per cent is for those due for their second dose. Beneficiaries have been asked to carry the certificate of their first dose of Covaxin at the time of getting their second shot.

Apart from students and professionals traveling abroad for job, those who need to travel for medical emergencies or foreign nationals returning back to their country are also eligible for 2nd Dose of COVISHIELD before 84 days at all BMC and State Govt CVCs.
They must produce a valid travel ticket, visa and document justifying urgency to travel which will be scrutinized by the centre in-charge.
