Water cut in Parel, Sewri and Naigaon on Friday

Areas like Parel, Sewri, Naigaon will face water cut for 24 hours or lesser and in areas like Lalbaug, Dadar and Hindmata the water supply pressure will be slow.

On Wednesday, September 9, The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced that there will be 24 hours drinking water cut in several areas of Central Mumbai.

Moreover, in several areas, the water supply pressure will be low due to the renovation work of the water pipelines that are older than 100 years and several other pipelines for its augmentation. The civic body further added that the cut will happen between Friday 10 am and Saturday 10 am.

Areas like Parel, Sewri, Naigaon will face water cut for 24 hours or lesser and in areas like Lalbaug, Dadar and Hindmata the water supply pressure will be slow. Therefore, the people are requested to co-operate with the civic body and make prior arrangements for storing water as a consequence of the water cuts.

Down below are the areas where water supply will be closed off:

KEM, Tata, Bai Jerbai Wadia and MGM Hospitals

Sewri (East): Fort Road, Gadivadda Sewri Koli Wada

Sewri (West): On 11th September from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm - Acharya Donde Marg, TJ Road, Zakaria Bunder Road, Sewri Cross Road

Parel village: On 11th September from 1.45 pm to 4.45 pm. Ambekar Marg up to 50 tenements, Eknath Ghadi Marg, Parel Village Road, Nanabhai Paralkar Marg, Bhagwantrao Paralkar Marg, Vijaykumar Vanlibhe Marg, S.P. Compound.

Kalewadi: On 11th September from 8.30 pm to 11.30 pm Parashuram Nagar, Jijamata Nagar, Ambewadi (part) Saibaba Road, Mint Colony, Ram Hill

Naigaon: On 12th September from 7 am to 10 am) Jerbai Wadia Marg, Spring Mill Chawl, G.D. Ambekar Marg, Govindji Keni Marg, Shetye Market, Bhoiwada Village.

Abhyudaya Nagar: Abhyudaya Nagar, Tokershi Jivraj Marg on 12th September from 2.15 am to 6 am

Byculla: E-Division on September 11 from 6.45 pm to 9 pm. MHADA Building, Ferbandar Naka, Ranicha Bagh Premises, Ghodpadev Naka.
