The girl's death opened a can of worms for the officials who looked after the Cooperage garden. Since 2015, horse (joy) riding was not permitted in the garden, yet it continued for two years.

Along with this, it was not maintained properly as paver blocks had loosened up. The committee which was headed by Abasaheb Jarhad, Additional Municipal Commissioner (City) submitted their report to BMC commissioner Ajoy Mehta with all the said observations in it.

All are now awaiting the commissioner’s action against the officials who have been accused indirectly for the girl’s death.
