CR to run 12 additional Special trains between Mumbai & Varanasi

Central Railway (CR) will run 12 additional Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai, and Varanasi for the convenience of passengers during the upcoming Chhat Puja / Diwali festival season.

Details as given below:

LTT-Varanasi Specials 

04225 special will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 16.55 hrs every Tuesday from 14.10.2025 to 18.11.2025 and arrive Varanasi at 02.05 hrs third day.

04226 special will depart Varanasi at 01.35 hrs every Monday from 13.10.2025 to 17.11.2025 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai at 14.25 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati(Bhopal), Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Sultanpur and Jaunpur City

Composition: 4 AC-2-Tier, 9 AC-3- Tier and  2 Generator Cars

Reservation: Bookings for special Train No 04225 has opened at all computerised reservation centres and o­n website www.irctc.co.in.
