Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi’s illegal houses to be demolished by government

Fugitive businessman Nirav Modi, and his uncle Mehul Choksi are currently absconding while the government is making efforts to poach them down. On the other hand, both their houses are being demolished as they are violating CRZ regulations.

Absconders Mehul Choksi and Nirav Modi have been all over the news for the past few months and the government is trying to extradite them. Recently, the Maharashtra government declared that Modi and Choksi’s bungalow in Raigad and Alibaug should be demolished.

However, the demolishing of the bungalows isn’t associated with the money-laundering but is being brought down due to a violation of Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) regulations.
