Andheri - Stacked up waste on the street has become a big problem for the commuters. Waste is all spread on the route from Mahakali road to Takshila bus stop. There are civic schools and hospitals in the area. The waste has become the breeding place of mosquitoes, and we tend to read people dying of dengue on every alternate day. Commuters have complained that BMC trucks don't come to collect the waste in the area. Local corporator Ramesh Latke targeted people for the dirt amassed saying, "there are many people who throw waste out of the bins."
