Atharva Foundation, in an event, organised on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, donated a few devices to the Mumbai Police, and as per reports, these were handed over to the officials at Borivali, Charkop, MHB, Kasturba Marg, and Kandivali Police Stations.

The event was organized by Sunil Rane, President of Atharva Foundation, who is also the BJP MLA from Borivali. He also took to Twitter to share the details about the event, with a message that read, "Atharva Foundation donated 2 Computers, 1 Printer, 1 Web-Cam & 1 Speaker sets to Police Stations of  MHB Colony, Kasturba Marg, Kandivali, Charkop and Borivali (W) within Borivali Constitution."

 

"A program was organised to announce the distribution done at Mega Party Hall, Shimpoli Road. All Sr. Police Officers and Representatives from the concerned Police Stations were also present," he added.

Sharing more, MLA Rane added that over the new few months, approximately 100 CCTV cameras would be installed across different areas of Borivali which would help the police in managing and reducing traffic-related problems and crime in the locality. Moreover, a total of 1,010 CCTV cameras will be installed at every police station in the areas of Kandivali, MHB, Kasturba, Borivali and Charkop police stations, which will help the police in managing the city and crime every day. 

Besides MLA Rane, Kandivali Senior Police Inspector Babasaheb Salunkhe, Borivali Senior Police Inspector Sudhir Kalekar, Charkop Senior Police Inspector Manohar Shinde and other top police officers were also present at the event.

In the past, the Atharva Foundation had also organised ‘One For All, All For One’ event with an aim to honour soldiers. Celebrities like Sonu Nigam sang the anthem and felicitated the soldiers by reciting 10 untold stories. The motive of the foundation was to make people aware of the Indian Army's selfless work.
