After the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) issued a notice to the producers directing them to stop plastic bag production, Maharashtra Plastic Manufacture Association has decided not to supply the same to Dairy Industry from December 15.
The plastic bags are not eligible for disposing, recycling, processing and are harmful to the environment. The decision to not supply plastic bags raises an important concern for the Dairy Industry.

The Milk producers are concerned that if the plastic bags are not available, they wouldn't be able to store their products. The decision was taken by the plastic manufacturers which raises concern that it might affect the milk supply among the commoners.
