Mumbai – The Elphinstone Road bridge is an important bridge connecting two very busy roads, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road and Senapati Bapat Road, in Dadar East and West respectively. The traffic jam is a perennial problem here but now municipal commissioner Ajoy Mehta has decided to make this bridge from traffic jams. Mehta, on Tuesday, directed the civic administration to prepare a proposal for four laning of this bridge. The action came after Mehta inspected some parts of Dadar-Worli areas on Tuesday. Presently, the bridge is two-way which is said to be the main reason for regular traffic jams here.
