On Friday, a three-storey building collapsed in Dombivli. As per the information received, fire brigade personnel, municipal administration and police have reached the spot and efforts are being made to rescue people who are feared trapped under the rubble.

KDMC Commissioner said, “Rescue operations have been started. According to information received, a 70-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman are still trapped under the debris.

Bhausaheb Dangde, Commissioner of Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation, while informing about the incident, said, "As soon as we noticed that the building was collapsing, our Assistant Commissioner and other colleagues rushed to the spot. They evacuated the residents living in the building. However, information is still coming out that two people are trapped. ."

If reports are to be believed, the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation had issued a notice to the residents of the dilapidated Adinarayan Nawa building in the Ayre-Dattanagar complex in Dombivli East, but some people were still living in the complex.
