Fire incidents have become rampant in Mumbai as on the same day, three fire incidents were reported.

Late on Monday night, a massive fire broke out at Dockyard road where seven shops got charred while other two fire incidents were minor.

Seven shops turned into ashes

A fire broke out in the iron workshop of Jameria building at Dockyard road around 12:25 am. Within a few minutes, six fire engines, four water tankers reached the spot. The firefighters successfully doused the fire around 2:00 am. It was a level- II fire and the cause is still not known.

Anugrah hotel's kitchen got charred

Another fire broke out at Dadar's Anugrah hotel in the wee hours. A piece of cloth fell into the utensil which was kept on the gas. The cloth caught fire and the scared chef threw it on the other side. The burning cloth fell into the stacks of the grains and the fire engulfed the whole kitchen. Luckily, there was no casualty reported but the owner suffered property loss.

Similarly, a minor fire broke out at Juhu Tara Road's Suraj Co-op Housing society's third floor. As it was minor, firefighters were successful in dousing the fire in no time.
