Air pollution in Mumbai has become a topic of discussion for the last few days. Due to poor air quality, breathing has become difficult for the citizens. Therefore, the Bombay High Court has issued some guidelines regarding air pollution. Similarly, Mumbai Police has registered a case against a builder for not following the guidelines and causing air pollution in the city. This is the first case registered regarding air pollution in Mumbai. The BMC had filed a complaint against this builder.

In view of the increasing air pollution in Mumbai, the Municipal Corporation has started taking strict steps. It is being repeatedly said by the Municipal Corporation to follow the rules laid down to prevent air pollution. However, some builders are seen violating these rules. A case has been registered against a builder at Santacruz Police Station in Mumbai. This is the first FIR lodged by Mumbai Police against a builder on the complaint of BMC. According to the complaint lodged by BSMC with the police, builder Bharat Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd has not installed a 25 feet high sheet at its construction site.


Therefore a notice was issued to this businessman. However, the accused again started the construction without laying a 25 feet high sheet at the construction site, thereby violating the order of the public servant. Therefore a case has been registered against Bharat Realty Ventures Private Limited.
