The Shinde government has given a Diwali gift to the residents of Palava, Dombivali. It has been decided to include 26,000 flat owners in Dombivali East Palava in the ITP project and provide exemption in property tax. This decision was taken in the meeting of the ministry in the presence of Minister Ravindra Chavan, MP Shrikant Shinde, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhausaheb Dangde. The decision of the Shinde government has brought great relief to 26 thousand flat holders.


Palava in Dombivali East is an integrated urban settlement project. However, no burden of this project fell on the municipal administration, rather all the tax was collected from the residents. There are about 26 thousand flats in Palava. This is an ITP project and a demand was made that 66 percent property tax exemption be given to the project owners as per rules.

The meeting was held in the ministry in the presence of Public Works Minister Ravindra Chavan, MP Shrikant Shinde, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhausaheb Dangde and other concerned officials. In this meeting, it has been decided to give 66 percent exemption in property tax to these plot holders. This has brought great relief to 26 thousand families.
