Several measures have been taken by the state government to make cities Mumbai a smart city. The formation of the Good Morning team is one of the prominent decision devised by the government. This team will end the open defecation woes in the cities of Maharashtra.
The team will roam in the city and will aware people about the disadvantages of open defecation from 2 October onwards. The state government has instructed all local bodies to set up this team. Not only this, the government is also trying to get the funds under the Clean Maharashtra campaign to construct toilets.
