Mumbai witnessed heavy spells of rains in several parts of suburbs on the morning of Wednesday, September 25. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) stated that Mumbai and the Western parts of Maharashtra witnessed a heavy downpour accompanied by lightning on the midnight of September 25. There was moderate rains in South Mumbai.

SkyMet further stated that the rainfall is likely to continue for another 4-6 hours.
