Water supply will be shut off for three consecutive Saturdays in the Kurla area. Water supply will remain off on Saturday May 13, 2023 and thereafter on May 20 and 27. Information in this regard has been given by the municipal administration.
There will no water supply in Sangharsh Nagar, Loyalka Compound, Subhash Nagar, Bhanushaliwadi, Yadav Nagar, Durgamata Mandir, Kulkarni Wadi, D'Souza Compound, Laxminarayan Road, Josh Nagar, and Azad Marpet area of Kurla for three consecutive Saturdays.
The work of the water channel on Khairani Road has been taken up by the Deputy Water Engineer Department of the municipality. The 1200 mm diameter underground water channel on Khairani Road will be rehabilitated and strengthened between Tukaram Bridge and Jungleshwar Mahadev Mandir.
The work will be done every Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 am on Sunday. The department has advised all citizens of the area to boil water and drink it after regular water supply on Sunday.
