Lokhandwala - Mumbaikars now will be able to reach Lokhandwala in mere 10-12 minutes from Kandivali station east now. Kandivali’s MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar and Lokhandwala Residents Association have made this possible. Motorists used to take right turn to go to Malad and Goregaon which was causing traffic jam. This turn has now been closed down. Due to this, now motorists take U-Turn from Thakur complex flyover to go to Malad and Goregaon. This has eased the traffic congestion at Akurli road. To let people know about the changes, volunteers of Lokhandwala Residents Association stand with placards in their hands. “I am thankful to Lokhandwala Residents Association volunteers for helping out to ease the traffic problem of Akurli road. These volunteers worked relentlessly for 15-20 days to solve the problem,” said MLA Atul Bhatkhalkar
