According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the state will be witnessing some rainy days till Tuesday, November 16. It will be accompanied by thunder and lightning. 

On Wednesday, November 17, a fresh low-pressure area is likely to formed over the east-central Arabian Sea off south Maharashtra-Goa coasts, said IMD.

Mumbai is also likely to witness rain or thundershowers towards afternoon or evening starting Tuesday for three days, as per the seven-day forecast.

A "yellow" alert was issued by the MET department starting Saturday over most districts of southern Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. It is expected that isolated places like Raigad, Latur, Beed, etc., will witness thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds till Thursday, November 18. Thane is also under a "yellow" alert from Tuesday till Thursday.

The city on Sunday, November 14, recorded a three-degree rise in its minimum temperature in the last 24 hours., and the minimum and maximum temperature in Mumbai is likely to remain above normal.

Last week, there was a slight nip in the air as the city's minimum temperature dropped to 20.2 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, on Thursday, November 11, the air quality in the city has remained in the ‘moderate’ category settling at 174.
