Angry MNS functionaries and party workers protested at the S Division office of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Thursday as officials left the office despite giving an advance time to meet them. At this time, the party workers protested against the officials by vandalising the chairs in the office.
The Municipal Corporation is taking action against MNS flags planted in many places. In this regard, MNS functionaries and party workers of the locality took the time of the Municipal Corporation officials and tried to meet them. However, MNS has alleged that the concerned officials are reluctant to meet.
Finally, on Thursday, the officials here gave time to meet MNS functionaries and workers. Accordingly, MNS office bearers and activists had come to the S Division office. But even after a long time, the officials did not meet. On inquiry, they found that the officer was not in the office. Enraged by this, officials and activists staged a strong protest in the office of the Municipal Corporation. Some activists also vandalised some chairs in the office.
