SHARES

An investigation is currently going on in the JJ hospital regarding the clinical trial of drugs of private pharmaceutical companies conducted by Parshwa Life Science Company, and in the last six years, it has been prima facie revealed that the medicines of nearly 30 pharmaceutical companies were checked in the JJ hospital. However, it is being alleged that many drug tests were recorded in the name of Dr. Hemant Gupta, it is believed that their number is likely to increase.

In the raids conducted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the alleged malpractices at the Corona Centre, Dr. Hemant Gupta's name came up. After that the hospital administration decided to investigate a private company, Parshwa Life Science, which was associated with Dr. Hemant Gupta who was operating in three rooms of the hospital's pharmacology department.

In this, it has been revealed that some doctors have not received remuneration, while others have not given the account of remuneration to the hospital administration. But in 2018, the investigation revealed that the company Parshwa Life Science Company had officially tested 30 drug companies in the six years since the contract was signed with the JJ hospital. Also many tests were done in the name of Dr. Hemant Gupta. Therefore, it is predicted that the drugs of more than 30 pharmaceutical companies have been tested.

Skepticism about drug tests
It is suspected that doctors have approved some medicines without testing them in the JJ hospital. In some drug trials, the names of hospital doctors have been mentioned. But in reality it has been revealed that the concerned doctor was not involved in those tests. Therefore, the Committee has raised doubts on the drug tests.
