
During his visit, Ghadi met hospital staff and reviewed the situation after the incident, in which a nurse was attacked by relatives of a deceased patient. He assured that efforts would be made to ensure the immediate arrest of the accused and strict legal action against them.
The Deputy Mayor also interacted with the injured nurse, who is currently undergoing treatment, and took stock of safety concerns raised by doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff.
Highlighting the seriousness of the issue, Ghadi said the matter would be discussed with senior civic authorities, including the mayor and the health committee, to strengthen security measures in municipal hospitals.
He further emphasised the need to fill vacant posts in civic hospitals, noting that staff shortages are affecting patient care and putting additional pressure on existing employees.
