MHADA officially announced the date of allotment of 2030 houses of Mumbai Board on Wednesday. Accordingly, the lottery advertisement will be published on Thursday and the lottery will be announced on September 13. Then the application sales-acceptance process will begin.
Directly after 2019, the Mumbai Board had drawn 4,082 houses in 2023. A large number of houses remained vacant in this lot. Therefore, before the implementation of the code of conduct for Lok Sabha elections, the idea of drawing lots of new houses along with these houses was started. But matching the houses took time and the lot was delayed. Now in the background of assembly elections, MHADA has decided to draw lots and now finally Mumbai Board has announced the lots.
Lottery of 2023 houses in Tardeo, Dadar, Kole Kalyan, Powai, JVPD, Goregaon, Borivali, Vikhroli – Kannamwar Nagar, Powai etc. in Mumbai has been announced. This draw includes 359 houses in the lowest group, 627 in the low group, 768 in the middle group and 276 in the high group. 370 houses received from various redevelopment projects under Mhada 33 (5), 33 (7) and 58 are included in the 2030 houses in the lottery. While 333 houses are scattered and 1,327 houses belong to Mumbai Board's housing project.
The draw will start on 9th August from 12 noon. MHADA Vice President Sanjeev Jaiswal will start the pre-lottery process. The result of the draw will be announced on September 13 after completing the pre-draw process. There is no change in deposit amount and income group limit. The application fee has also been kept at INR 590.
