Rain to hit Mumbai June 17 onwards

The rains can be moody at times. Mumbai has seen a glimpse of rain but according to the Meteorological department, rain is going to be uniform June 18 onwards.R

Rain touched Valsad, Gujarat on Tuesday and was expected to turn towards Mumbai for some uniformity but the department says that hasn’t happened so.

Central Maharashtra, Marathwada and Vidarbha has seen plenty of rain early on.

“By 17th or 18th of this month, Mumbai will receive uniform rain. But we can’t say if it will rain every day of the month. It has rained in some regions of the state. After Gujarat, it will take a few days for it to rain in Mumbai” said Krishnanand Hosalikar, Sc of Deputy Director General of Meteorological Centre, Mumbai.
