The minimum temperature on Sunday was 27 degrees Celsius which was about 0.4 degrees less than the highest minimum temperature of 27.4 degrees Celsius recorded in November 2018.

Mumbaikars experienced the second warmest November morning with its minimum temperature at 27 degrees Celsius, on Sunday, November 21.This was the second warmest morning in the last ten years. Sunday's temperature was 0.4 degrees less than that of November 2018 when the highest  minimum temperature recorded was 27.4 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature yesterday was a degree above normal - 34.5 degrees Celsius. It is because of the rise in multiple "active" weather systems close to the Maharashtra coast, cited experts. 

Mumbai's relative humidity stood at 65 per cent, yesterday, as per the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) Santacruz observatory, In the post-monsoon season, Mumbai's usual relative humidity is around or below 50 per cent.

The minimum temperature in the city has been on a rise for the past ten days by eight degrees. Mumbai had recorded its lowest minimum temperature at 19.8 degrees Celsius in early November.

Meanwhile, till today November 22, the state will continue to witness rains  At isolated places an "yellow" alert is issued indicating thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds. It includes places like Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, etc. The city's minimum temperature is likely to hover over 24 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius.
