On behalf of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation Encroachment Department, action is being taken against unauthorised constructions and encroachments in the municipal area. Under the guidance of Rahul Gethe, eviction action was taken against the encroachment structures constructed without permission in Belapur division.
Koparkhairane Division Office Area 1) M.Vaideshwar Developers (Vaishnavi Enterprises), Shop No. 15, Plot No. 72, Sector-5, Koparkhairane 2) M.Vaideshwar Developers (Monalisa Palace) Shop No. 16, Plot No. 72, Sector-5, Koparkhairane was issued a notice under Section 53(1A) of the Maharashtra Regional Planning and Town Planning Act, 1966. He had constructed the loft in an unauthorised manner without taking any prior permission from the Municipal Corporation.

However, due to the concerned not taking notice of the notice, unauthorised constructions were evicted by organising a demolition drive through the Koparkhairane division office. On the said unauthorised construction, the demolition drive was organised by the Koparkhairane department and the unauthorised construction was evicted through them. Officers/employees from Koparkhairane Division NMMC police force as well as 10 labourers, 1 pickup van, 2 electronic hammers, 1 gas cutter etc. were used for this strike campaign. Anti-encroachment activities are going to be implemented intensively in the area of the department office.
