The water supply to Thane Municipal Corporation from M. Stem Authority will be shut down for 24 hours from Friday, December 13 at 9.00 am to Saturday December 14 at 9.00 am for urgent maintenance and repairs. However, by planning its own water supply scheme of Thane Municipal Corporation, it has been planned to continue water supply in Thane city for one time.
There will be no water supply to Ghodbunder Road, Patlipada, Pawarnagar, Kothari Compound, Azadnagar, Dogripada, Waghbil, Anandnagar, Kasarwadvali, Owala, etc. from 9:00 am to 09.00 pm on Friday, December 13 and there will be no water supply to Samtanagar, Ritupark, Siddeshwar, Internity, Johnson, Jail, Saket, Uthalsar, Retibandar, Kalwa and some parts of Mumbra from Friday, December 13, 9.00 pm to Saturday, December 14, 9.00 am. In this way, it has been planned to continue water supply in a phased manner.
Due to the planned shutdown, there is a possibility of low pressure water supply for the next 1 to 2 days till the water supply returns to its previous position. However, the citizens have been requested to keep proper stock of water and cooperate with the Thane Municipal Corporation.
