On first day, Leader of BMC House loses his ‘assets’

Mumbai – Leader of the House in the BMC, Yashwant Jadhav was in a utter shock when a petty thief decamped with Jadhav’s pocket on the first day of his new inning in the civic body. Jadhav lost his wallet and a mobile phone when he had gone to receive Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray who visited the BMC headquarters after the election of mayor and deputy mayor.

The incident took place on Wednesday during the election for mayor and deputy mayor’s posts. Yashwant Jadhav had gone to receive the Sena chief who had arrived with his wife Rashmi Thackeray and son Aditya Thackeray to greet the party candidates for mayor and deputy mayor’s post. Amidst the chaos, Jadhav lost his wallet and mobile phone of Jadhav. This happened soon after Jadhav assumed the charge of his new role as the Leader of the House. Some people who came to know about the incident termed as ill-omen while others termed it as the ending of his saade saati.

Meanwhile, Jadhav expressed the possibility of losing his wallet having his I-card, PAN card, bank debit cards etc along with cash of Rs 10-12,000. He has appealed the people to return his documents if they find it out.
