The 'Mumbai City District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center' recently announced the 'Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay' job fair which will be conducted online until September 23, 2020, for the citizens seeking opportunities in the state. As per reports, a total of 3,401 posts have been made available in this fair.
Candidates willing to apply for the online job fair can register and login on the website www.rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in and go to the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rozgar Melawa tab and select the city of Mumbai. They can choose the employer and apply for the vacant position, following which they will be interviewed online by the employer.
Sharing the information, Chhaya Kubal, Assistant Commissioner, District Skill Development, Employment and Entrepreneurship Guidance Center, has asked as many candidates as possible to participate in this fair. One can apply for the and many others, through the portal.
Coronavirus outbreak has affected several businesses over the last few months, due to which many establishments and industries have been shut down, amidst the lockdown announced by the government. But with activities resuming slowly in the unlock initiative, companies and establishments are resuming work under certain conditions. Keeping this in mind, an online job fair has been planned for employers and job-seeking candidates to fill the need for manpower, thereby encourage local unemployed candidates to apply.
Positions for a packer, loader, housekeeper, field sales associate, loan processor, delivery boy, insurance sales executive, recovery manager, helper, promoter, document collector, tailor, machine operator etc. at various companies in Mumbai have opened under the job fair.
The recruitment officers of the companies for the fair will select the candidates for various posts by interviewing the eligible candidates online through telephone, mobile and skype conversations.
