On Tuesday, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) declared the list of vaccination centres that will be administering vaccines from 9 am to 5 pm.
Owing to the shortage of vaccines, from the 316 state-run and BMC vaccination centres, only 73 are functional on Tuesday for vaccination in the island city.
According to reports, all the state and BMC run centres will be operational from Wednesday when the vaccine supply is received, stated the civic authority.

An aggregate of 66 vaccination centres operated by the Maharashtra government and the BMC in the area will be giving the Covishield vaccine to those over the age of 18. On Tuesday, health care, as well as frontline workers, can attain their second jab of the Covishield vaccine from the centres.
Covishield’s second dose will also be administered to people travelling abroad from Mumbai for higher education or jobs.
The civic authority has requested all to bring their first dose vaccination certificate to the centres.
Both doses of Covishield will also be given to those above the age of 45 at the drive-in centres. Foreign nationals coming back to their country will receive vaccines at all BMC and state-run vaccination centres on operational days, provided travel tickets, visas and other valid documents are shown.
