In effect of the decrease in International crude oil prices, the fuel prices are also falling down in India. Petrol in Mumbai is being sold at ₹86.58 per litre and diesel at ₹78.41.
The decrease of 15 paise in petrol prices and five paise in diesel can be observed in the city on Thursday. With the reduction in the price of international crude oil and recovery of currency depreciation, the prices of petroleum in the country have been falling.

In international markets, crude oil is priced at $79.74 per barrel while it was being sold at $85 earlier this month.
