Maha Mumbai Metro has set a new national record. 51,991 tickets were booked using WhatsApp on a single day. This is the highest single-day WhatsApp ticket usage by any metro in India. The milestone marks a major achievement in digital ticketing.
The record was set on Metro Lines 2A and 7. 19% of all tickets were booked through WhatsApp. This is the highest share of WhatsApp ticketing in the country. 44% used the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC). Only 2% used the mobile app. Paper QR tickets made up 35%.

The busiest stations were Gundavali and Andheri West. These stations had the most foot traffic. They also had the highest number of digital ticket sales.
