Price of Mahananda milk increased by INR 2 per litre

The Maharashtra government-run dairy has increased the price of milk by INR 2 per litre. Following major brands in the state, state-regulated Mahanand Dairy Milk has also increased the prices of its milk by INR 2 per litre.

Cow milk now costs INR 57, Annapurna variety INR 56 and toned milk INR 55 per litre. Annapurna's half-litre pouch costs INR 28, while an equivalent weight of toned milk costs INR 27.50. The revised rates were implemented from February 11.

The headquarters of Mahanand is at Goregaon. The dairy supplies around 80,000 liters of milk daily to Mumbai and 30,000 liters to other centers in the state.
