According to sources, Mumbai’s civic body, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is to recruit for 185 various posts in the corporation. 

Moreover, the recruitment process has been started for this and applications are being invited from eligible candidates for the posts. However, the application has to be done offline. The last date to apply is May 28, 2021.

Total seats: 185

Name of the post and educational qualifications required:

1) Laboratory Technician - 89

Educational Qualifications: The candidate should have a B.Sc degree from an accredited university and should have passed the D.M.L.T. (B.Sc. + D.M.L.T.)

Or the candidate should have a degree in Bachelor of Paramedical Technology in Laboratory Medicine from the branch of Semi Medical Technology, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences after 12th standard.

Or the candidate should have passed Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education examinations and similar examinations with Marathi subject with a question paper of at least 50 marks.

2) Pharmacist - 96

Educational Qualifications: The candidate must have a Diploma in Pharmacy from the Board of Technical Education of the State Government or a Diploma from a recognized University or a degree Pharmacy from a recognized University. (Graduation will be preferred. Moreover, the candidate should be registered with Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.

Age limit: 18 to 65 years on April 01, 2021.

Exam Fee: No fee

Pay Scale: INR 18,000
