State Transport bus meets with an accident in Palghar leaving 11 people injured

The bus turned on its side after it tried to overtake a vehicle on a narrow road. Miraculously, no passenger sustained major injuries and escaped with minor bruises.

A State Transport (ST) bus travelling from Mumbai to Saphale, Palghar met with an accident on August 1. The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus accident reportedly left 11 passengers injured. More than 90 people were travelling on the bus.

As per reports, the bus was passing Manjurli, a village in Palghar at around 7:30 in the morning. Meanwhile, an RV was coming from the opposite direction and when the bus driver tried to overtake the vehicle, the bus lost its balance and turned on its side.

The injured were immediately rushed to a government hospital in Saphale. The condition of the patients is said to be normal now.
