On Thursday, February 10, Maharashtra Tourism and Environment Minister, Aaditya Thackeray visited the BSE (formerly Bombay Stock Exchange) and interacted with Ashish Chauhan CEO BSE about possibly beginning financial literacy classes across schools in Maharashtra.

Thackeray took to Twitter to elaborate on how similar to the guided tours of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) headquarters and that of the Bombay High Court, the authorities are now working on a scheme to include a certain amount of tourism that could pay a visit to the iconic BSE building.

He believes that this will enable them to comprehend the contributions of the BSE to India’s journey of wealth-building. His tweet read, “Just like guided tours of the BMC headquarters and The High Court, we are now working on a plan to have a certain amount of tourism that could visit the building and know of the glorious contribution of the BSE to our nation’s wealth-building journey.”

On the BMC headquarter tour front, one can visit the location and enjoy viewing and comprehending this grand heritage structure. This guided Heritage Tour is jointly brought by the civic authority and Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).

On the civic front, BMC opened a brand new park with a small walking track and seating facilities inside a traffic island in the middle of a busy junction in Tardeo.
