Mantralaya makes a subtle point with this new ‘selfie-point’?

Strange as it may sound, but politics and tigers do share a special equation in the city, leave alone the state. So while the number of the great Bengal tigers is dropping alarmingly, the Mantralaya has put up this fibreglass sculpted statue outside and has made it a selfie-point for the locale of the city. But metaphorically speaking, the selfie-point put up by the Mantralaya does seem to put across a subtle point quite evidently. So what we are saying is that is it that the state government of the BJP is trying to take a potshot at the Shiv Sena, saying that its repute is much akin to that fibreglass tiger or is it that the issue of the dropping numbers of tigers in the country has suddenly got them fretting.

Earlier as well, a selfie-point in Shivaji Park was created by the BMC leader Sandeep Deshpande, but since he faced a defeat in the recent BMC elections, he thought it best to shut it down. While BJP, again trying to grease the souls of the Mumbaikar, said on twitter that they would build a better one here. But apparently, they had different plans in mind.

And then, the BMC had earlier tried to play it safe by granting a distance of 50 feet to the three parties BJP, Shiv Sena and MNS for setting up their selfie points given the tug-of-war happening amongst the three parties for one selfie-point in Dadar.

So whatever the case may be, Mumbaikars, as ease-spirited they are, can still bask in the glory of getting themselves clicked with this completely newfangled selfie-point created by the Mantralaya.
