Maharashtra government to auction underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's properties

The government has decided to auction several properties of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and an advertisement of the same has been published in newspapers.


These properties are included in the auction

Properties listed includes Dawood’s Shabnam Guest House which is a two-story building in Bhendi Bazaar and Damarwala building (flat number 18 to 20, 25, 26, 28) located at Pakmodia and Yakub Street. Another property which is put up for auction is Hotel Raunak Afroz, which was popularly known as Dawood Ibrahim's adda.


Where and when is the auction?

The auction will take place through a sealed tender, public auction and E-auction on November 14, 2017, in Kilachand Conference room, Churchgate.


Who is Dawood Ibrahim?

Dawood Ibrahim is a brain behind 1993 Bombay blasts who currently is hiding in Pakistan. The dreadful series of blasts claimed 257 lives and more than 700 people were left injured. It is believed that he also has properties in Dartford and Essex and in central London.
