Chembur-Vehicles gathering dust outside the Tilak Nagar police station are creating inconvenience for the citizens. Most of these are accident vehicles, vehicles confiscated in crimes or recovered after theft. The number of such vehicles has gone up in the past few months.
But these vehicles parked outside the police station are now the root cause of traffic jams. The police says it cannot do much as they do not have an alternate place to park these vehicles. These vehicles cannot be disposed off as some of them are related to cases still being investigated.
One of the police officers also said that they cannot remove these vehicles without court orders.
Till then citizens will have to live with the traffic snarls and pollution.
