Due to the influence of Western Disturbance, there has been a big change in the weather of the country including Maharashtra and unseasonal rains are occurring at many places. It has been raining in many districts of Maharashtra for the last two-three days. At the same time, the Meteorological Department estimates that the presence of rain will be seen again in the next 48 hours.
According to the information given by the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of unseasonal rain with thunderstorms in some districts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttarakhand and North Maharashtra in the next 48 hours.
It is also predicted that some districts of Marathwada and Vidarbha may experience heavy hailstorm along with gale force winds. It has also been advised that farmers should keep the harvested crops properly covered. Marathwada and Vidarbha have been receiving unseasonal rains for the last three-four days. There have been hailstorms in many districts, due to which Rabi crops have been destroyed. Farmers hope that the government should inspect the damage as soon as possible and announce assistance.
Heavy rain in Maharashtra in next 48 hours
Along with Pune, Mumbai, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Khandesh have been warned of unseasonal rain in the next 48 hours. There is a possibility of unseasonal rain with thunderstorms in Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur and Solapur districts.
