In what can be called a shock for Mumbai cricket, all the members of Mumbai's senior committee have resigned. The mass resignation was tendered by the Ajit Agarkar-led panel, a few hours before the Mumbai Cricket Association's (MCA) ad-hoc committee met on March 15, Friday.

The committee was headed by former India pacer Agarkar and also consisted of former India spinner Nilesh Kulkarni, Sunil More, and Ravi Thakkar.

Incidentally, the resignation comes a day after the conclusion of the domestic season as the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy ended on March 14 in Indore.

The panel was under pressure since MCA's Special General Meeting had passed a resolution to sack them. However, when the matter came up to the Cricket Improvement Committee (CIC), they backed the selectors.
