Yesterday, October 24, India played against Pakistan in their first match of International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup 2021. History is proof that India has never lost against Pakistan, but in a twist of fate, Pakistan won the match by ten wickets. Although India lost against Pakistan, here are five instances when the Men in Blue won our hearts:

1. MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli interacting with Pakistani players

Yesterday, October 24, after India lost to Pakistan by ten wickets, Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni interacted with the Pakistani players. MS Dhoni was seen talking to Shoaib Malik while Virat was seen talking to Rizwan.

2. Virat Kohli gifting his bat to Mohammad Amir 

During the 2017 Champions Trophy campaign, run-machine Virat Kohli gifted his bat to Mohammad Amir. Not only that, he had praised Mohammad Amir for making a noteworthy comeback to cricket after serving a lengthy ban. 

3. MS Dhoni posing with Sarfaraz Ahmed's son

Ahead of the Champions Trophy final in 2017, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni was photographed holding Pakistan's captain Sarfaraz Ahmed's son. A lot of people in Pakistan reposted the photo and praised his gesture.

4. Yuzvendra Chahal tying shoelace of Usman Khan

During the 2018 Asia Cup, Pakistani cricketer Usman Khan came on the field to bat. His shoelace was open, and he was struggling to tie them as he was wearing gloves. Chahal then came in and tied his lace.

5. Virender Sehwag helping Shoaib Akhtar to get up

It was the ODI series with Pakistan touring India in 2007-08 when Shoaib Akhtar fell on the ground. Sehwag went to him and offered help. He extended his hands to pull him up.

Another instance that went viral after yesterday's match was when captain Virat Kohli was seen hugging Mohammad Rizwan. Shiraz Hassan, a Pakistani Journalist posted the video on his Twitter handle.

Well, it surely did melt our hearts!
