A 15-year-old cricketer has caught everyone’s attention during the N. T. Kelkar Trophy Cricket Tournament in Thane on Thursday.

Aryan Bapat left no room for competition for Little Flower High School players as his impressive bowling figures 0-5 in 3 overs stunned everyone.

This was Aryan’s first cricket tournament and he has certainly made a mark for himself in the inter-school cricket space.

The match was between Saraswati Education Society School and Little Flower High School and the former needed 118 to win the game. They chased it down and won the honours but it was Aryan’s performance that grabbed everyone’s attention.

Aryan studies in the 10th grade and for the last 6-7 months, he has trained at Sulakshan Kulkarni Cricket Academy under Sulakshan Kulkarni.

Aryan has worked hard in the last 6-7 months and this being his first competitive tournament, he has performed really well. We could see Aryan become a good all-rounder in the future. Children train for years and then perform in such tournaments but Aryan has done it in a very short period of time.”

Sulakshan Kulkarni, Aryan’s Coach.
