Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh blessed with a baby girl; To miss fourth Test match against Australia

Indian batsman and senior player, Rohit Sharma has been blessed with a baby girl and has flown to India to be with his wife, Ritika Sajdeh. Accordingly, he will miss the final match of the Test series against Australia

After a nerve-wracking win against the mighty Aussies, Team India will miss the services of their senior player Rohit Sharma for the fourth and final match of the Test series, as the batsman has been blessed with a baby girl. The 31-year-old has flown to India to be with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, who gave birth to their first child. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri will ask for a replacement for the final game of the series which begins January 3.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared that he will be missing the fourth Test match but will return for the ODI series against Australia after he left for India on December 30.

Sharma made a comeback to the Indian Test side in the first encounter against Australia. In the third match, he hit a half-century and remained unbeaten in the first innings of the Boxing Day Test. After an inconsistent run in Test matches, Rohit earned his spot back in the squad as he started the Test series in Australia in style.
