After a nerve-wracking win against the mighty Aussies, Team India will miss the services of their senior player Rohit Sharma for the fourth and final match of the Test series, as the batsman has been blessed with a baby girl. The 31-year-old has flown to India to be with his wife Ritika Sajdeh, who gave birth to their first child. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether skipper Virat Kohli and coach Ravi Shastri will ask for a replacement for the final game of the series which begins January 3.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) declared that he will be missing the fourth Test match but will return for the ODI series against Australia after he left for India on December 30.
